Medicare Rebate
A Medicare rebate ($110.80) is available for residents who live in a telehealth eligible area provided that we have a GP referral and the patient has a Medicare card.
What is a Telehealth Eligible Area?
Medicare defines it as any area outside of a major city (RA1) as classified by the Australian Standard Geographical Classification. There is also a requirement for the patient and doctor to be located at least 15km apart at the time of the consultation. Our Patient Support Team can check this prior to the consultation.
